Re: Lounge 20th Century Arts & Humanities Draft!

I want to make a ruling on Valar's choice of the Panama Canal as a Sculpture: to be clear, he is getting the Canal as a work of art - a sculpture/modern installation. NOT as a functional Modern Tool.

So no sailing any boats through it.

However, if Valar was confused and wants to change his pick to the Modern Tool category, I will allow it until his turn comes up again.

Nice pick Francis. I had a hope it would still be available when it came my turn.

Hubble really solid. I mean, even sparing the science, it's literally an art generator.

All the picks thus far have been nothing less than epic. Really surprised no one has taken Izzard yet, though. Aren't you afraid someone will snipe him?

Re: Lounge 20th Century Arts & Humanities Draft!

Sorry I'm late guys, but then I didn't expect to be up so soon. I'll post my pick soon and do the write up tomorrow morning.

The Hubble Telescope is another great pick for Modern Tool. I assume Francis M.H. owns all the photos also.

I was considering this but was not sure it qualified as it is from a video. Still like it as a photo better. To me it qualifies. The lie has more impact as a still. Will have to go with my backup photo which is also a dramatic photo of blood and violence without blood or violence.
