My Dad was a big fan of KS. I was more like, I don't like you if you're not on my team, but I do have a little inherited soft spot here.

RIP Kenny.

I seem to remember him as a villian in some Disney movie.

RIP Kenny.
I remember when Oakland traded him for Dan Pastorini of Houston and then the Kansas City Chiefs treated Pastorini like a turkey drumstick.

Pro sports is show biz, and Stabler was as fun to watch as anybody I have ever seen. Never a Raiders fan, but always rooted for them when he was on the field.

RIP

Damn. These are 4 separate Amanda Peterson mugshots from 2000-2012. She ranged from 28-40 here I guess. Stay off drugs:

Her at 16:

RIP one of my earliest and biggest celebrity crushes. I'll choose to remember you young.

I saw that, that's pretty bad.

This is a good James Tate poem I read when I was young and never forgot:

The Wild Cheese

A head of cheese raised by wolves
or mushrooms
recently rolled into
the village, it
could neither talk nor
walk upright.

Small snarling boys ran
circles around it;
and just as they began
throwing stones, the Mayor
appeared and dispersed them.

He took the poor ignorant
head of cheese home,
and his wife scrubbed it
all afternoon before
cutting it with a knife
and serving it after dinner.

The guests were delighted
and exclaimed far into the night,
"That certainly was a wild cheese!"

That kid's name was Moe Greene, and the city he invented was Las Vegas. This was a great man, a man of vision and guts. And there isn't even a plaque, or a signpost or a statue of him in that town!

Wait, Moe Green was 36 years old in that movie? lol. How the ****. Did he have Richard Dreyfus disease?

Still not quite over Leonard Nimoy's passing. Watched a Colombo episode co-starring Nimoy and I caught some feels.
