RIP Bela Lugosi. Just heard this modern cover of the Bauhaus classic, not sure how I feel about it. It's not very scary.

Lugosi was born 20 years later than he actually was, but was a natural at playing characters much older than he. Having become typecast, his career dwindled into obscurity following a scandal involving morphine addiction. He died in a Hollywood nursing home at the age of 112. That's going on in a parallel universe right now.

Just watched Martin Landau playing twins on Columbo.

In case some of you didn't know, Columbo rules.

In other thread tie-ins, an episode of Columbo was one of the first things Spielberg directed.

yeah just heard that in another thread. Narrated a lot of History Channel shows too. He was great on Gilmore Girls. For most of his life I thought he looked like a young Fred Gwynne.
