My Lovely Assistant is quitting. Well, not exactly quitting, but she'll only be in about 10 hours a week. So, who is responsible for fixing up things when they break, which is basically everyday? Ha!

The other day, a manager came in and said, "We really need you now, daveT." Uh... why? I told him that I don't associate with the system and I don't associate with her, sorry, but those are the rules. (this really is the rule, not created by me. It was in place since October or so, but no one ever seemed to get the memo, which is where a lot of my irritation came from)

One other manager told me that I must be happy to hear about it, but I told him I wasn't because this would end up causing me a lot more work, then I took this opportunity to tell him how and why everything is ****ed up. They made a bunch of huge mistakes and now they are suffering for it. He told me that LA told him that everything is stable and fine. I called it bull**** and told him people bitch to me nearly everyday about how things aren't working, "Oh, why did she do this when it was working fine last week." "I can't log in and use whatever she is doing," etc.

They are scrambling to find a solution, but nothing is coming down the pipeline, and I, of course, refuse to help. This is causing even more bad decisions and causing at least one of my coworkers to commit a ton of his time to find a solution, but trust me, there is no solution with the constraints thy put on themselves.

Today, the owner totally blew up on a bunch of my coworkers. "We spent way too much on this [bleeping] system. You are going to [bleeping] learn how to use it." He was two rooms away, but it sounded like he was standing next to me. This went on for a good ten minutes. He totally lost it.

One of my friends said it best:
"Don't help them."

"They're stuck now and need you, but after all the **** they gave you, it isn't worth your time."

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Eclipse + supermoon + spring equinox. That signals the end of winter.
