It's his own recipe that's inspired by but different than Popeye's.

What is wrong with all of you? The biggest appeal of fried chicken is that it makes the absolutely best gravy on earth. The chicken itself isn't bad, but that gravy on mashed potatoes or rice is one of the best foods in the world.

A Bill Miller Poorboy Plus was roughly $2.70 in 1992. Now it's $6.55. San Antonio menu. Potato salad is the pro play for the side.

I notice there is a Babe's very close to my house. This is the family-style joint with all-you-can-eat sides?

I think the chicken fried steak was highly recommended to me by a person whose taste in food doesn't inspire much confidence.

But best fried chicken in Texas is quite high praise... so maybe worth investigating.
