*DRAFT* Interest List - Greatest Movie Characters - The Lounge Discussion and Review on Literature, Arts, Culture

It's been too long Lounge. Too long without a draft, hence this interest list thread.

Here is the idea, we draft the greatest movie characters of all time. It can be any character that was ever in a movie. Doesn't have to be the lead. Doesn't have to be a great, well known actor. Just a character from a movie that you enjoyed and remembered because of said character. It could be a bad actor from a bad movie yet still a memorable movie character.

So who is in? It will be a standard lounge snake draft with 4 hours before you are skipped. PM next up etc. If we can get at least 8 I will launch it.

I have about 25 characters floating around in my head I could see going first

The pool is huge for this one and it should be lots of fun. Hopefully we can pick up a few more people.

ya knowing all the old hipsters in the lounge there might actually not be a consensus #1 even tho there really should be.

I am super excited for this tho due to the ginormous number of great draft candidates.

hopefully we can get a bunch of ppl cuz this is a draft that will def benefit from alot of ppl.

just join we don't really need write ups most of them will speak for themselves and the more drafters we get the better.

Agreed, Enrique is in. You can just catch up on write-ups or not, your choice. And if you need to be skipped I am sure you won't be the only one. The more the merrier and everyone is welcome to join.

We are up to 9 which is great. I'll give it until Monday to see if we can get more and then launch an official draft thread with a randomized order and rules and get this thing going.

Otherwise we'd be drafting Characterizations, not characters.

Does the character have to be human? I assume not.

I pick Francisco Goya. Have I won yet!

I'm in. Which is a pain since I'm retired and have much to do. I can be regularly skipped, as I no long adhere to the strictures of universal time.

Do animation films count? What about films from the planet Jupiter? Is Roger Corman a character? Is God? What about monster slimy sea slugs from the ocean deeps? Can I pick from films that haven't been made yet? Does the character have to have any lines? The questions just keep coming.
