both wrong (and i'll write more about that when i'm sober again), but essentially, this list should be like the nobel prize of literature SHOULD be. it should only include groundbreaking achivements, that inlfuenced many -if not generations- of filmmakers and viewers alike.

By that standard The Blair Witch Project should be on the list

And at least some digital masterpiece. Not just old "ah yes this is nice" and by breakthrough you should go back even deeper into groundbreaking cutting etc.

It's a list of good films. Who cares what order they are in?

I agree to the extent that after people generally agree that something is well done you shouldn't bother ranking them, but just because something is art doesn't mean that it's not a complete pile of crap.

Cloverfield did a much better job with the found footage concept than Blair Witch. A new idea can't get much credit unless it's at least reasonably well done.

I didn't either the first time I saw it, but subsequent viewings have proved to me it's among the greatest of all time.
