The first thing that stuck out at me is how no one will look at you. It's not like 1000 yard stare I'm ignoring you, but it is a quickly turn their head away and look out yonder action as if I just caught them stealing. Very strange behavior that even the service people do.
No one acknowledges walk signs. So what if a trolley is barreling down Nob Hill? They waltz.
No pretty girls. Well, one or two, but they were pretty average.
The m/f ratio is skewed very hard to M.
Still liking it here. No real complaints yet.
I will say that Chinatown is the best area from what I've seen so far. which is most everything East of Van Ness and North of Market.
I'm still in SF, waiting for megabus to get rolling.
I left a day early.
I'll probably post it tomorrow. It was a major trip. I probably did a month of stuff in 3 1/2 days.
Sounds like you had a good time, which is all vacation is supposed to be. I spent a month in SF when I was a kid and spent a weekend there about 25 years ago. It's a beautiful city and I'd like to get back there again some day. Looking forward to TR!
