Doesnt matter if you take 10% off of the scale , it is still a linear rating scale which has two ends and a middle. So you see sir your point is invalid.

There is no validity in having a scale where there is a 10% range outside of the scale which can never be reached. That means that that outside , unreachable area, is not part of the scale and should therefore be excluded entirely. It is like saying, on a scale of one to -500 to +500, +10 being the absolute best and 0 the worst, what do you rate this girl. Well the -500 to 0 and +11 to +500 are simply redundant integers that merit no mention in our functioning scale.
