It's 4pm. I'm eating my breakfast. A fish sandwich and potato salad. I haven't seen a green vegetable in months.Napoly is a dangerous place. Not sure what it is about that place but it always leads me to long nights and trying to figure out what exactly happened. Guess the 2 bottles of Johnny Gold may have had a say.

I'm going back to usa for a month in June. My sister told me this morning that my favorite band is in town during that time.I'm happy about that. I need a little break from the city anyways and I can't wait to see my family. It's been almost a year and a half now since I've been home.

I'm not even sure what to write. It's been a while and a lot has happened and I don't even have any pics.

Guess I'll tell a random girl story since I have a pic of her and she is ridiculously pretty. This one was a fail in the end. I had her but I ****ed it up. Not sure if it was the fact that I hooked up with her friend she works or the fact that she has seen me in her work in conditions I would not want most people to see me in. Or maybe it's the fact that I light money on fire there. Like literally lighting US currency on fire with matches.I'm Not sure if she was there that night . Or maybe it's the fact that she barely speaks a word of english and I'm a white guy/degen .lol.Anyways.

Oh and Don I agree with Song. You and your girl need to adjust on how cooked you order your steak.. There's actually a really nice steakhouse in town now called el gaucho. Great service, consistent and good steak. Good wine, very nice atmosphere.I go there at least 3 times a month.

So many western places suck or are inconsistent. I also found a good local place that has xoi ga chang, which is basically just chicken with sticky rice.Cost about 40kvnd or about 2 bucks. Nice white meat chicken. Also really good barbecued chicken feet. It's surprising how good chicken feet are. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it. Duck tongue as well.Again, Srry no pics,

Man i wish I read this thread before going to vn. I just came back from VN. I was there for a week. Hey Bro, on the real, there are so many hot girls at Chill Sky Bar in downtown. That lounge on the 27th floor of a tower on Le Lai street close to Ben Thanh Market. If I read this I could have met up with you for a few drinks lol. anyways, enjoy living in VN. I find this place is infested with hot chicks who would blow you just because your forehead has the word "US CITIZEN" on it.

Craziest night by far for me last night. myself, _UM and another poker player on here plus a my gf and 4 of her went to gold last night. The most popular club in ho chi minh right now. Anyway cut to the chase gold was over pack so we went to a club a block away call 1102. The third poker guy was sick so he left early and didn't get to witness what was about to happen.

My girl went outside to grab 5 pill of E we all intended to share. Went back with 5 pill which she already smash. She pour the powder into a shot glass mix with pesi. I was standing right next to her while the music is blasting loud and she raise up her hand signaling 5. I didn't want to go first and was hesistant but she just say motion for me to go for it. Alright whatever I guess I got to go first so the other girls will do next.

As soon as I quickly finish the shot. She gave me the OMG look jesus christ at that point I realize I just drank the whole 5 pill. WTF who would put all 5 pill in one little shot glass. The whole time she raise up 5 finger as to mean each of us take a sip. Anyway me and her had a little arugment near the bathroom after I try to throw up but it powder so I guess I only threw up about 2 pill. Why do I think this? well I start seeing craziest shi.t ever, words writtening in the bathroom stall. everyone I took at I can see their veins and blood flow. I couldn't take it anymore and had to go outside to sit down.

My gf on my side telling me all this crazy stuff about our relationsip and the whole time looking at her I was seeing a couple of freeze image of her like a photographer taking a pic every sec. People coming out and in probably thought I was crazy all something staring at them with the most curious look and the whole time my gf still super pissed at me for ruining everyone mood. More stuff happen but I guess the juice of it. Anyway _um will probably share his side of what happen inside the club while I was outside. I think he had a good time with one of the girl that night .

Good ole deafening HCMC club music so that we all go deaf plus cant communicate...glad things worked out. I dont think I woulda been able to handle 5, probably 3 though. I dont see why smash it up? A harder/faster hit since its already dissolved?

Also now I know that people here smash em into a tiny shot glasses. Go figure... another wtf moment for vietnam. Still doesnt make sense though as the last person will get the most as all the heavier residue will be during the last sip.

Also, i would of downed down 2 bottles of water and than proceed throwing up.

Why did she smash them up? I thought the quickest way to get them dissolve is to just take it like a pill and water it down or redbull it down? Anyway, I experienced this before where I met a girl in District One at Gossip and she was a friend of my cousin. I knew she had a thing for me when we met and I made my goal of tapping that ass once the night is done. She took 1 E and was dancing her ass off at our table. When we got back to the hotel, she was still dancing until 6 ***** o clock in the morning until she finally gave it up. I almost gave up...almost. Well at 7 am i kicked her out of my hotel oh good old HCMC story :P

Not sure why they do that. It's ridiculous and makes zero sense. But that's Vietnam so. Thx for the story.

got some time to kill in the Tokyo airport on my way back to Saigon. Been home for 2 months.Almost changed my flight again to stay longer as the weather has been amazing in boston and the fresh air can't hurt. there is still stuff coming up out of my throat that I know can only be a result of the smog filled city that has become home.

Anyways I am officially an Iphone owner, so basically I actually have a camera now.

A good friend of mined opened a local card room. I went over and checked it out a couple times and also brought another old friend. When I met Buddy about 15 years ago he was the oldest guy I had ever know basically. Well here here is years later at age 95 playing a little poker.
