Tip#1:
Daisy,
If some1 comes by, sez they're from the government, and they wanna see if you haz a TV in your house, CALL THE COPS LIKE RIGHT NOW [just dial 911].
I found out they do this in several EU countries, not just England.

Tip#2
It's customary to tip the pizza delivery guy about 1$, unless it takes like over an hour, or they keep calling you saying they can't find your house.

Tip #3

Keep in mind that in places like Texas [or California, where I'm from], you might find yourself in neighborhoods inundated by Mexican flags. Not necessarily dangerous [well, unless u see guyz selling crack next to your favorite burrito stand!], but, well, they don't speak a helluva lot of English.

Tip #4
Never ask for directions in a mini-mart or a gas station, especially if the guy behind the cash register looks like Apu from The Simpsons. They literally have no f**king idea where they are, but they make good Slurpees.

Tip #5
Gasoline/Petrol is sold by the gallon, not by the liter.
1 gallon= 3.785 liters
If you desperately need to measure something out in liters, find a Walmart and approach one of the fat people riding a scooter. They customarily carry around 2-liter and 3-liter bottles of soda. Let them chug down the rest of the bottle first tho, or they'll get pissed off.
these are good

There are flags everywhere cos people keep forgetting where they are from. The children are made to chant that they love their country and if you do something that someone else doesn't like, they can call you unpatriotic or say that you are being unamerican which can lead to lynchmobs and public execution.

if someone says you've got a lot of spunk in you, it's not a hugely inappropriate and crass statement like you'd expect, but actually a legally allowable way for american coworkers to congratulate their officemates in a professional work environment without getting sued.

If you're a person of mild intelligence, try to tone it down a bit.

If you're thin, pad out a bit.

If you're a person of liberal attitude towards things like abortion, just lie.

Evolution is a theory accepted by a minority, keep these crazy thoughts to yourself.

Take a lesson in American History while you're there. I did the entire History of America in 5 evening classes.

Everything is AWESOME!
