Sorry, also don't read too much 4L and don't have a backstory to OP. But is OP American and if so is she like confirmed baller status? I can't imagine it would be that standard for a normal, young (at least she looks fairly young) American to be able to just fly all the way out to Tenerife solo for a casual vacation.

OP is Russian. From a Russian or American point of view Tenerife might be regarded as exlusive.
From a central European point of view the Canary Islands (just like the Balearic Islands, i.e. Mallorca, Ibiza et cetera) are pretty much the most ordinary summer vacation place of Europe.
Nothing wrong with that. Will go to the Balearic islands myself in the near future.
