The past 12 months have been a difficult road for us and for the country. Ever since the election of Donald J Trump, we have had to fight every racist, sexist, and bigoted decision he has made. However, yesterday was a new day. And a day that will lead into a 1001 days of a major comeback story for this country. Perhaps you heard that Chris Christie, a noted Trump fan and governor of New Jersey lost his re-election bid? Perhaps you heard Virginia elected a Democrat Governor? But nothing shows the rejection of Donald J Trump from this country, than the election of Danica Roem to the Virginia State Legislature!

But before I explain about Danica Roem's win last night, let me explain some of the back story. Back in January 2015, Republican Bob Marshall introduced Virginia House Bill 1414 which would enable refusal of service to persons based on same-sex "marriage" or homosexual behavior by any public or private business in some way licensed by the state. Thankfully this bill was tabled, but something needed to be done to Bob Marshall. Enter Badass Danica Roem. Danica Roem is a trans-female who defeated Bob Marshall last night. She is thought to be the only transgendered person to win an election to a state legislature.

I was using crazy as the common phrase "You would be crazy to..." not in a way that would accuse one of being "mental". That mistake was mine and I do apologize. This is a common expression that I haven't really thought much about, but after some thinking, perhaps this common expression should be used less often.

The reason I used this expression, was to express how beautiful Danica Roem is. I realize that for some, they may have different opinions on beauty, and that is ok. This is something that is hard for me to accept some times, and I again want to apologize for my comments, I can see now how they may come off as being "you must like transgendered people, no matter what....!"

I hope all of you can forgive me, and I will try better in the future.

This feels like a prepared speech written by someone else, much like Trump when someone lets him know he has done wrong and he is forced to apologize even though he doesn't want to, because he thinks what he says is right.
