get it checked out. I noticed something a couple months ago and freaked. turned out to be nothing, but i was glad to know and, of course, that is half the battle.

Well I stayed up all night to make sure I could get registered with a doctors today.
I went along and registered, but it's going to take a couple of days until they get my files from my old doc back home so will be Wednesday before I can make an appointment.
What age are you? Testicular cancer usually strikes young men... think early 20s.
It is probably nothing and you can tell a lot by self examination. Is it hard, can you squeeze it, size, shape etc. The best thing is to get it checked out but not freak out in the meantime.
I was worried a year or so ago when I noticed a lump on my left ball. It went away though, and only came back when I was masturbating. I'm assuming it is nothing. But now I'm scared again.
You definitely don't want to waste any time getting to a doctor. Speaking from personal experience here, I waited too long, tried to ignore it, and I ended up with one less ball, 10 months of chemo, 5 surgeries, and a side-effect called peripheral neuropathy that is still with me 11 years later. If I had gone to the doctor earlier, chances are I would have gotten away with a simple surgery. See a doc asap.
I waited way too long as well but got lucky because it was growing so slow. Still lost one but very minimal post-surgery treatment. Wish I had gone as soon as I noticed it, felt so dumb telling the doc I'd been aware of it for like 8 months.
