I was unaware that was the standard parfait definition. I have learned something today. Now I can go back to bed.

lol when did this start to happen £4 for a cup of tea, you can buy a box of tea or coffee for that much.

Is man just getting brainwashed slowly by TV and radio advertisements??

que intelligent discussion.
Can actually not agree more with these two.

I simply cannot understand the point of the iPad. It seems like a complete joke waste of money. It does nothing of any note that a small laptop cannot and it can't even be used as a phone, not that you'd want to seeing as it's the size of a piece of A4 paper.

The relentless increase in coffee shops (seemingly opposite each other) is also a joke. What did the people who frequent these places do before they opened? I don't get it. Why spend £5 on coffee?

Bottled water I agree with less so as sometimes I want to drink some water and don't necessarily have access to water at that particular time.

Overall, I concur.

lol, really were paying 60p/cents for water in a bottle, when we can pretty much get it free from our taps.
Tap water has a lot of crap floating in it that won't be found in bottled water (I know, a lame defense of overpriced bottled water). But it's only fair to point that out.

Filtering your tap water is a much cheaper option, though. That's what I do. A filter can be had for about $13 (on sale), and filters 100 gallons of water. That's 13 cents/gal, or less than 2 cents for a half liter.

Reusing your old bottles saves money too. I still have bottles in my car that I've been using for three years. As long as they don't stink, I'll keep drinking out of them.

If you are going to buy bottled water, buy it a gallon at a time. My favorite is Deep Rock, which costs 89 cents/gal, or about 12 cents for a half liter. That's not too bad, and Deep Rock is as good or better than any imported water IMO.

Pizza for breakfast can be far better for you than it sounds. You might want to brush your teeth afterwards rather than before though, especially if you used lots of garlic and onions (these are of course optional). If you are worried about calories then simply go easy on the oil and cheese.
Pizza for breakfast is an interesting proposition indeed. But consider the circumstances. The pizza will likely be cold, and you'll have to warm it. But microwaved pizza is nasty. So you'll have to heat it for 10-15 minutes in a convection oven. And some people don't have convection ovens, so they'll eat nasty pizza. I don't understand your logic one bit.

Hmm, maybe you are right. Also, while it's toasting, I'll have some time to sneak in a dozen orgasms or so.

Oh, just glare back at them. Just because a lot of people like it doesn't mean everyone has to like it. I hate beer. You can imagine how many weird stares I got in college and the Army.

You know I've never had pizza bagels or toast for breakfast but now I am intrigued.

That should take about five minutes - what will you do with the rest of the time?
10-13-2010 , 01:45 PM
what about drink preference? what does everyone drink with their breakfast? i normally alternate between chocolate milk and apple juice. i'm interested to see the different perspectives on this.

that's why you make it on a bagel. it takes < 5 minutes and is as fresh as the last trip you made to grocery store.

Bad idea to include such suggestive photos EADGBE. Better hope that Mason doesn't see this thread.
