Tonight I wanted to bring up a serious issue that has unfortunately become more and more popular, Reverse Rape. Reverse Rape is the refusal to sexuality engage with someone, simply because their body is the "wrong type". Here is somebody expressing this problem:


It's important to remember that there is many types of bodies. It's important that we do not turn somebody away, simply because their body is not a type that society has deemed "attractive". It's extremely important to ask yourself questions when you turn down somebody for sex, that you are doing it not because of how that person looks. If you have done that before, I hope in the future you reevaluate your decision.

Allow me the opportunity to address all of your concerns below:

There is nothing wrong with having a sexual preference. This person might not be a good match for you. However, you shouldn't just look at someone and say "Well they are fat, ugly, etc". There is more to finding a mate than just the looks that society has dictated that makes someone attractive or not.

The purpose of this post is to make people aware of this trend so that we can do better so that we do not get to the point of having 20 year sentences for reverse rape

How do you feel about being reverse raped? I believe you may be able to identify with the subject in the picture I posted.

You are taking 2 different things that I have said way out of context and making them appears complete opposite of each other.

You are looking at this from an extreme point of view. Can you tone it down some and try to look at the situation from the view point of the subject in the picture?

The exact words in the image are "Reverse rape <definition> is just as horrific as rape". There is no in between here. The quote is saying they are both the same level as horrific. And you posting it is showing you support what she is saying. If I told your mom that her son (?) thinks that it would be equivalent for me to walk past her in a bar and not talk to her, as being if I pinned her down and raped her against her will, what would she say?
