2. If body dismorphia is treated in anorexics as a mental condition, and is combated, how come we don't treat trans body dismorphia as a mental illness too, since it is.

Either that or we should start encouraging anorexics to diet until they are dead, because they just don't like what is in the mirror. By placating the fevered delusions of the mentally ill gay people that are trans, we are not helping them. Ever see a happy 60 year old tranny out gardening? Or any 60 year old trans for that matter? Not many around. Check the suicide rates while you are at it. They'd be better off gay.

The reason we do not address the actuality of this mental illness is the shear volume & scope of the mental glitch in society. Identifying and exposing the exact number of mentally tweaked individuals among us whom function just in the major positions of power and responsibility would set off an exagerated cause for concern in society imho.
