lol at "progressive" house trance label. So what's the difference between non-progressive and progressive house trance music? is the first one homophobic in any way?

I have a few Tiesto mixes and podcast's I listen to while playing poker get's me into a good zone.

I am more into hardcore Techno and jungle though. Although I have had some great times/experiences back in the day rockin out to Trance and House

It's a Different style/sound of trance and house there are a ton of sub-genres in electronic music. Just like regular Rock and progressive rock. Basically the music/song's/tracks progress from start to finish.

Oh there is a difference alright. Don't know about house, but trance that is not progressive tends to make my brain bleed. "Progressive" means that it is aimed at people with >110 IQ.

Re: progressive house trance etc music thread

Progressive house is much darker. And non Progressive Trance is less gay. I am more into Acid Trance but that is harder to come by these days.

Higher IQ for Progressive? Completely Wrong.
The more minimal and darker stuff is actually deeper and harder to understand. Progressive Trance is more for E-Tards/Candy Ravers (usually ages 12-18) and pop fans that is why almost every pop-trance track (Sandstorm for instance) has been of the progressive persuasion.
