It just looks unreal. Unfortunately i haven't been yet. But i will go, there is no doubt about that. Hopefully next year, if not the year after. Planning on hitting vegas for a month or so, doing the EDC and many casino visits haha.

Language is this year's Levels. Super catchy and played by everyone... But wait 'til Q4 2012 and 2013 roll around and you're still hearing it in mainstream clubs :P

It won't even show up as a valid track for people to vote for in the ASOT top 20 (Bromance, One, etc never did despite being played out), but it'll probably make the year mix. Unless some mega-anthem pops up in the next while it looks like Concrete Angel is probably a lock for ASOT top of 2012's pole position.

You have to go. The atmosphere and the people around you is a tremendous experience. Group Therapy Stage was amazing.

Language will be eligible for ASOT top 20 for sure. Think of the DJ's who play that track.

Has a trance DJ ever played Bromance or One in their sets? Not sure because I've only been following EDM for a year. But I doubt it.

Concrete Angel is a contender for #1. I'm gonna add The Fusion to that list which was basically the song of ASOT 550.

Loving this track right now. I think a lot of DJ's will be playing this one for the rest of the year.

I know the guys that run the poll and most of the tracks on it are played on ASOT, but there are some discrepancies between what ends up on the top 20 and what makes it onto the yearmix gets a bit more commercial stuff like Tiesto, SHM, etc that Armin might not play on ASOT.

Tracks like One, Language, Bromance will make it into Armin's livesets in Ibiza or festivals (and hence broadcast on ASOT when he plays a set from Privilege, Space or Amnesia), but he'll never play it as a regular track on the show. The list of voting tracks tends to be tracks played on his regular episodes, and some mashups / etc don't make it onto the list - if you look at the top 20s you'll never see much (if any) prog house unless its like an Armin remix (i.e. Avicii remix of Drowning).

Also... all mixes of this track are excellent

Think its the original mix that does it best for me though.

My favourite moment at EDC. Just perfect. Helps that the song is my favorite trance track of all time. I was pumped to hear Mat Zo play it, but he was a no show. Fortunately, the gods were on my side and I got to hear it.

Re: progressive house trance etc music thread

eurgh getting behind on my trip reports but went to the Anjunabeats night in london last night and it was so epic. Jody Wisternoff, Oliver Smith, Mat Zo, Above & Beyond and Genix. Was a really great night, A&B played a pretty different set to the last two times I saw them (one of which was last saturday) and still killed it
