I'm going backpacking for the next 5 months and im super psyched.

Leaving Melbourne, Lolustralia on june 21 and dont plan on getting home til november 8

The day i leave is gonna be pretty hectic. Ive got my last exam for the semester starting at 915-1230 and my flight out leaves at 1355. im gonna have to do a 3 hour exam in a little under 2 hours to get to the airport 2 hours early ^_^ fingers x i get through. its a property law exam.


First stop is Tel Aviv where im going where i'm, staying with 7 other boys from home and then probably visit some family too.


heading to Mykonos on the 1st of july and Ios on the 5th for some partying in the greek islands. i did this back in 09 when i was 19 and these islands are a blast.


Next stop is Budapest and Prague for 3 nights each.


Berlin next for 3-4 nights before arriving in Amsterdam on the 18/19th to get blazed. **** i love this city and im not even a big weed smoker.

After that im off to Barcelona and Madrid until the 29th of july

from spain i fly out to Toronto to spend a week with my family that i've never met. looking forward to finally meeting them

Arrive in NYC on august 6 for 6 days or so. Hit me up with good places to go at night. was also here in 09 but was still 19 so didnt go out. Gonna be meeting back up with 2 other mates that im going to be spending the rest of the trip with. Whats the blow like here?

go to Miami --> Vegas --> LA for about 9 days after that maybe?

meeting a friend from home who moved to LA and now lives in Britney Spears old house. I really want to **** in her old toilet if i get the chance. just for gags.

Mexico is our next stop for 8-10 days. going to Playa del Carmen and cancun. I've heard cancun is way overrated though so we'll be spending most of our time in playa. mexico is where ive been wanting to go most. ive just heard to many good things about it. can you guys tell me anything else? we'd also be pretty keen to see some mayan ruins in our time there if possible.

After mexico we fly to south america for the remainder of the trip. we'll get there some time early/mid september i think

Colombia -->Peru-->Bolivia --> Argentina--> Chile

always wanted to do the inca trail and see machu pichu. really excited to do this



we are pretty much just going to wing south america and get around where and when we feel like moving on on the appx 2.5 months we are there. What are some good places to visit?

Hit me up please. give me suggestions of things to do and places to go. Ive done all the Euro cities before and these are my favourites which is why im going back on a quick tour of them so its north/south america that is way more unfamiliar to me! You can buy me some drinks if you want to come out cause im gonna be a poor traveller. I've spent way more money on flights and train tickets than i have anticipated. its sick.

i estimate that i'll probably end up spending close to $20,000 on this whole trip.

YES! i completely forgot to mention that i'm going to try and write up what i'm doing and post updates as i go along! i've got a lot of time on planes and trains to write so all i need is a good internet connection!

Sweet, I went to Machu Picchu last year and hiked the inca trail for 10 days.

You're aware you can't actually hike upto Machu Picchu? You can get to the town below it then you need to take a bus up to it and buy a ticket to enter.

Can you ask to write your exam a bit early or something? That's really cutting it super close. The locations sound great!

I applied for special consideration stating I am attending a wedding on the 25th which is true.
they denied me claiming exam period dates are published 12 months in advance.

Whilst I rolled the dice booking a flight on the 3Rd last exam day its not like I was invited 12 months in advance. Tight asses right?

Would have me almost $1500 dollars to change to the next.available flight 4-5 days later. Would of missed the wedding and most of the time spent with my friends in tel Aviv where I had already organised an apartment to stay in with them : /

I really think its just a big part of our culture. Being so far away we really have to grab our opportunities to go travelling and do as much we can

Okay, sorry its taken me so long to get my first report up but the mini laptop I brought away with me is an absolute piece of **** that wont even recognize my phone so I cant currently get the photos off it.

Anyway, after leaving Melbourne on the 21st and managing to complete my exam it took my just under 35 hours of travel time until I reached my apartment in Tel Aviv. if you ever visit stay on dizingoff st but the opposite end to the beach as there is more restaurant options etc.

I traveled with 2 friends and coincidently 3 other people we knew from Melbourne were also on all 3 of same flights over so there was a group of 6 of us at the time. I also got some 27 year old American girls number on the flight to Israel but never followed it up because I wasn’t really that keen. Maybe next time but im hoping it’s a good omen 

Once we reached tel aviv it was pretty much time to hit the beach and work on our tans which are still coming along. Its been crazy here at night and a lot of fun. There are a fair few bars/clubs by the beach that we have gone out drinking to every night. I never expected to be able to backup 5 nights in a row to be honest. Every night we come home around 4-5am and are awake by 9 with little sleep and trying to function.

I hope that when I go to America not everyone is as sensitive as the American girl that slapped me after I 'insulted' her… we were having a conversation about American politics, which admittedly I know little about, and she was a strong strong right winger who despised obama. This was cool for me sure because I'm a little right wing too but she was just taking things too far. She said people who cant afford health care don’t deserve it :O ! this was just plain ignorant to me whatever.. anyway she kept saying how America rules the world yada yada yada and it got to the point were I said no, America does not rule the world. Americans are stupid. She slapped be in the face! LOL! I just turned around and started talking to her friend while she went off to make out with my other friend :P guess what? Next day she apologises to me via text and offers me a 3some with her friend the next night. Unfortunately she was large like a crocodile and I wasn’t to keen to open my account on something that looked like a large native reptilian creature from home.

Another night I went to a wedding which was really quite something else. The venue in hertzliya was incredible. It was a big outdoor space with high walls covered in creepers and small water feature lakes that ran throughout. The food was incredible too with 8 stations just for finger food each with 2-3+ options. The best was the mini burritos with chicken and guacamole. The whole night they played trance music which I thought was just hilarious. As the night was fully catered we also had some set sitting for main meals and unlimited bottles of booze. Some other douchebag from home that I know through friends was also there and he's got a rep for just going hard on as many substances as possible. He was really quite fun to be around at the beginning but as the night wore on and he finished what was likely to me more than a bottle of vodka to himself, added with the mdma he was having he became a complete and utter ****wit. He roamed around our table forcing vodka into peoples drinks. Okay we were all in our 20s so we shrugged it off but then he moved onto other peoples tables slurring and abusing people who wouldn’t hand over their glasses. The amount of abuse he hurled at me for not drinking was really quite sensational. I just wanted to punch his ****ing face in but I wasn’t going to do it at a friends wedding.

Right now I am visiting some family about an hour out of tel aviv. I'll try get some more photos up soon but the computers ive been using are just crap.

Oh and I must say that the Israeli women and ****ing sexy and tel aviv is well worth coming to just to see how ****ing sexy they are. Its sick. I struck out with one girl one night because I just couldn’t seal the deal and get her alone but oh well. I still have another 4.5 months to go.
