Pre Cliffs:
We been apart for 1.5 years (awaiting citizenship)
We text each other 24/7 from morning to night
We skype once in a while
Married 2.5 years, together 6 years
She visits me every 3 months..


I've never been as intensely jealous as I've been this past 9 months.. I've always trusted her completely.
9 months ago she lied to me about being at her sister watching a movie when she was drinking at her "aunts", she also got 2 surprise tattoos without letting me know.. (That she showed to me thru email pics)..
My trust issues had gone to the roof and i couldn't tolerate her even working because i was super jealous.
We've argued a lot, but I have no evidence of her ever cheating or lying to me after the incident.. She promised to never lie again..


Ok , so today is MARDI GRAS (i dont know if only in San Diego or all across USA) and i saw her sister put on Facebook, and i quote (Mardi grass night with my girls).. so i figured out her sister would ask her to go with my wife, so i proceeded to ask my wife if she was gonna go.. she said no, and i smiled....

After thinking about it, i feel like a damm douch-bag, how can i expect for us to be together for ever (fo eva eva, eva eva lol) with this trust issues, i need to trust her fully and let her have her space....

to not make this **** long, i flipped my jealousy around and from now on i will be a more trustful husband... i will give her space and let her have fun as she should (she is 23)... so i texted her telling her she can go, to have fun, enjoy and be careful, that i love her and miss her much..
she replied saying that this might be a trap and that she feels guilty or as she was doing something wrong if she goes out (making it obv harder for me than it already is) i proceed it to say that i will change and trust her from now on because i cant continue the relationship with all this trust issues...
so im letting go of this stupid jealousy and continue life as normal.... what ever happens, happens and life goes on...

I AM FINALLY A JEALOUS-FREE HUSBAND STARTING FROM TODAY (and i will try to be everyday)!!!!

I would like advice from a female perspective both on her and my side..

4 months ago you had a girlfriend....now you have had a wife for 2.5 yrs....tell us whats wrong.

How old are you? Where is your wife? She married you when she was, what, 20 or 21? That almost never ends well. Also, your wife having to lie to you about going out with friends is really ****ed up. This marriage will almost certainly be a failure unless you can get her to the USA and completely control her emotionally and financially. Awesome for you if you are that pathetic.
