I don't know how to say this, so I'm just going to say it.

Today I got an instant message from Scott, who is Paul's cousin. He informed me that on Friday, February 5, 2010, Paul "Reefer" Joynt at the age of 26 suddenly passed away while at home.

I'm just in complete shock. Paul was such a great guy, a huge part of the poker community, he will be missed.

reef was probably one of the best friends I've made through 2p2. He was such a great person, used to talk to him online all the time.. Dam he's gonna be missed.. Probably one of the funniest people I know..

Even though I never met him, I considered him a friend, and just thinking about not talking to him again really sucks..

Heaven just got a whole lot funnier with him there.. RIP man see you in the end

Birthday twin

I spent a ton of time talking to reef. He was someone I would consider a true friend and a wonderful person. I know he'd gone through a lot and I really hope he's at peace. My heart goes out to his mother especially, I know she worried.
Reef was better than most the people I met. I'm glad I knew him.
