Left milk out on counter for 3 hours - BBV4Life -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

It was a full unopened gallon. I put it back in the refrigerator about an hour ago. Will I get sick when I drink it tomorrow? I'm cheap and I like milk and I don't want to go out to get another gallon

It appeared to look normal but it hasn't been opened yet so I wasn't able to smell any possible sourness. I'm hoping that cooling it in the refrigerator will cause any bacteria growth to reverse itself and make the milk new again.

Went to Costco. It was very icy when we got home so when I brought the milk in, I laid it down on a cat litter container under our sofa table and went out to get more stuff. Had to throw salt down outside and by the time I got back inside I had forgotten about it.

I only remembered later because I saw package of these crispy-chocolate-bar-things on the table and thought, "These would go good with OH **** THE MILK".
