Alicia has to be very very strong to turn the page and to forget the day 13 of August because if she will continue to blame herself she will get insane.Unfortunately she seem to be a very sensitive and emotive person and she just couldn`t handle the pressure on her shoulders.I was sad for her sadness,i was broken in 2 halfs when i saw her face after she missed,in that moment i wish i was there to catch her in my arms and put her back on the beam.After she missed the beam she missed the floor also,that was shocking.What was she thinking in that moment?!Probably she was saying:What the **** are you doing Alicia?What an awful day!That was bad......She just trying not to cry and all the cameras were on her.It's relly hard to see someone crying when you see that person smiling everytime.
Untill now i saw her reactions and i also saw her crying many times,it seems she just cant pass the bad moments and she get stuck.What the hell Alicia?Just GO ON!!!Don`t waste your time crying for your bad moments.Nobody is perfect,you are also human and we all make mistakes.It`s just you did it at the Olympic Games and all the eyes were on you.The only bad thing you did in your life is that you fell down.

You only need 3 to compete on each event in the team finals.

Considering we have the #1 and #2 overall gymnasts it's pretty clear who the weakest link was on the team. The US had an injury which forced Sacramone into duty she wouldn't otherwise have had.

She fell like 3 or 4 times in competition (counting prelims) and that's hideous for Olympic level, when even 1 fall is usually enough to ruin everything.

I still think she's hot of course.

I love how the NBC announcers are like "Other than Micheal Phelps, no other athlete is getting more hits on our website than Alicia Sacramone, the public has really taken to her."

Sacramone had two vaults, with start values of 6.5 and 5.8, she executes them both fairly well, on the first she has two slight hops on the landing, on the second one slight hop.

The Chinese Bronze medalist had two vaults, both with start values of 6.5. The first she has a slight hop, the second she lands ON HER KNEES?!?! I honestly don't get this start value crap, how can one performer do two vaults and land semi-cleanly and lose to someone who basically ATE ****!?!?
