I had something resembling this in the late 80s:

It only had one game, a very simple tennis simulator, which I played for hours in the backseat. My first taste of computer addiction.

My father owned Quality Software, which started in about 1978 -- they had some cool games like Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Return of Heracles. I used to go with him to trade shows and trade our wares for others' -- Broderbund was generous; Infocom not so much. Such good times.
