I was playing 1/3 nl in a local cardroom a couple months ago. Just being a goofball, another player looked at me and said something like, "Hey, didn't I see you on a Poker After Dark taking a few hundred thousand off of Matasow?"

I didn't know the guy, but I was feeling friendly so I decided to play along and I said, "Maybe. Which episode was it that you were watching?"

We kept talking about the elaborate trap that Mike Matasow feel into because we were bored. We were just passing the time making stuff up because we were both pretty card dead.

For the past few months, I have played at this casino a bit and I've noticed that the dealer who witnessed the story keeps on bringing it up. For the longest time, I believed she was just continuing the joke. I didn't think the Poker After Dark story was all that funny, but she seemed to like it, so I would play along. Every time she'd refer to me as "that celebrity from TV," I'd pop the collar of my stupid Walmart shirt and walk around like I was hot sh*t, just trying to be funny and make her laugh. Little did I know, she wasn't aware I was joking.

It wasn't until tonight that I realized she actually believed the bullsh*t story. For reasons that I cannot quite comprehend, this dealer honestly believes I'm some kind of TV star and that I spend my free time playing 1/3 nl. She has literally been telling people for almost two months that I'm a millionaire, despite the fact that I haven't shaved in weeks and I dress like sh*t. I'm not exactly poor, but she probably makes more money than I do.

She seems like a nice person, but I am of the opinion that she deserves to be mocked for believing something so far fetched. Now that I know she thinks I'm a millionaire, I feel like I should screw with her head somehow.

What's my play?

Cliffnotes: Dumb dealer and my local casino believes I'm millionaire based on a stupid story she overheard. I feel like this is a great opportunity to mess with her head even further, but I'm not sure how.

If I thought I could pull it off, I'd probably sleep with her just for the funny story. The problem is I don't have a car and I live in a crappy one bedroom apartment, so the lie would fall apart pretty quickly if I went that path.

Then ask her number and get to know where she lives and go to her place and when she asks you "why won't we visit your mansion oh rich boy?" then you reply "girl I know I'm blessed by god with money, but money isn't everything and I cherish this moment with something which is far more important than money" and then sexytime and then you say oh btw I'm a lowlife degen see you tomorrow (that is when sexytime was bad or she had pimples on her puss)

ask to take a pic with her (for you poker blog)

It really is a good idea and I'm shameless, so I wouldn't mind.

The problem is that she works in a popular casino and she's very recognizable. If I posted a pic, this thread would get derailed before it got interesting.

If you need to blurr out her face then so be it.

But IMO you should think about this a little bit before you make your final conclusion. Also IMO most of teh trolls here are not old enough to like see her in person.

So if you are scared of blowing your cover, I think it is a very slim chance. (Hell all she has to do is google your name to blow your cover, she obv has not done this, whats the worst that can happen?)

The gullibility of the common peasant is quite amazing. I was joking with a friend once about flying to Connecticut to see our universities basketball game a few years ago. Being completely sarcastic, and a few sorority girls overheard me telling the story. So it got around that my dad owns a private jet and I see all the road games, within about two weeks.

Some people are just morons.
