There has been an issue where 60 VMware Partner Activation Codes that were shipped to the factory represented the wrong product. Of these 60, 30 shipped. Of those 30, 9 were claimed by customers already. Now, the customers with those 9 incorrect keys need to be contacted and offered corrected licensing, and the other 21 keys that have been shipped may see customers contacting Customer Care or tech support when they find their key does not work.
Who for Customer Care EMEA can take this information and see that the customers are contacted?
The keys were supposed to represent 2CPUs of VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus with 3 years of subscription – instead, the keys represented 4CPUs of VMware vSphere Enterprise with 1 year of subscription. The SKU on their original order should have been this SKU:
