Update:

My rent is paid up until the 18th. Today, I told my landlord that I was thinking about moving into a new apartment complex due to whole knife situation. The landlord doesn't want me to leave because I pay my rent on time and don't cause trouble. In exchange for me not leaving, the landlord is offering to give me "the bigger room" that the 47 y/o drunk is living in now. Apparently, the 47 y/o drunk never pays rent--he just fixes stuff around the apartment complex in exchange for a place to stay and he will live where ever the landlord tells him to live.

I'm pretty sure if I take the drunk's room, the drunk will move into another building. If that's the case, it would make it easier for me to move in on the Russian chicks without him getting in the way. (As of now, my communication with the Russians has been limited because the drunk is usually passed-out in the common room where the three of us would be talking.)

So, at the moment, I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to stay. On one hand, I'd really like to take a shot at fooling around with Skinny Russian. On the other hand, I don't want to be murdered in my sleep by Crazy Jamaican.

Last night, I decided that I needed to start talking more with the Russians because if I couldn't make any progress on that front, then there is no real reason to stay. Around 10 PM, the Russians were curled up together on the couch watching TV. They weren't quite lezzing out, but maybe they were getting there (see picture on previous page). I was doing my best to carry on a conversation, but after a few minutes it was just getting too painful. There is too much of a language barrier. I was getting a lot of quick one word responses and I got the idea that they wanted to be left alone, so I decided right there that this wasn't going to happen. Sorry, BBV4L.

Now that the Russians were out of the picture, my decision was pretty much made to leave, so with nothing left to lose, I decided to wake up early this morning and play cards with Crazy Jamaican. I never bother to write about this because it wouldn't be interesting, but when Crazy Jamaican isn't brandishing large sharp objects, I like hanging out with her. She might actually make a good roommate if she wasn't occasionally violent and mentally unstable.

Anyway, we're playing Go Fish, having a friendly conversation. I mention that I'm thinking about finding a new apartment and she is kind of trying to convince me to stay because if I lived somewhere else we wouldn't get to hang out and play cards as much. Everything is going well, until I suddenly f*** everything up in a matter of seconds. When she mentions that she needs to use my laptop later to charge her MP3 player, I say jokingly, “You mean the IPOD you stole from that party last weekend?”

The story behind the IPOD: [This is how she claims she got the IPOD: “My friend bought it from some white guy, but my friend has another IPOD so he is letting me borrow this one for now. My friend also forgot to let me borrow his charger.” I call bullsheet. Crazy Jamaican is poor. All her Jamaican friends are poor. Everything I have ever heard her listen to sounds like Beanie Man and Shaggy, and now she just randomly shows up with a 8 GB IPOD filled with mostly white music (Bowling For Soup, Blink 182, John Mayer, ect.) and she doesn't own a charger for it. I know a f-ing stolen IPOD when I see one. If she didn't personally steal it, “her friend” did and that's what I told her.]

So, basically, she throws down her cards and the Go Fish game is over very quickly (I was winning BTW.) The IPOD argument gets out of hand real fast. She starts losing her mind and before she heads downstairs for the knife, I say I was kidding and start apologizing a little to calm her down as I walk down the hallway back toward my room.

This trip report really should have ended here. I should have just locked my door and called it a day, but for some ******ed reason (maybe I was mad at myself for apologizing to her or maybe I just wanted to seriously burn this bridge for good), I decided to go back to her room five minutes later. I knocked, she opened the door, and I immediately start ranting:

“I'm not sorry at all. I'm right about the IPOD, aren't I? It really is stolen. It really hit a nerve when I called you on it, didn't I?” Again, I know this was a stupid thing to say and even now I can't totally explain why I said it, but at least I knew I was going to be back to my room with my door locked before the third knife episode began.

After I'm done ranting, I start to walk away down the hallway toward my room, completely unaware that she is coming up behind me. As soon as I turn around she shoves me about as hard as a 102 lb Jamaican can shove a person and I start to fall down the flight of stairs at the end of the hall. Luckily, the stairs are curved, so I am able to grab a banister before I do any serious damage.

I get up, brush myself off, look around for scratches, and then proceed to lock the door to my room before spending the rest of the day looking for a new apartment. When I come back, this note has been slid under my door:



I don't think we are going to be playing cards tomorrow or ever again. I'm pretty much going to keep to my own room for the next few days while I'm here, so unless I happen to run into her in the hallway, I seriously doubt that there will be anymore interesting updates.

Cliffnotes: I got pwned. I'm an idiot and I pretty much deserved to get shoved down a flight of stairs today. I'll be moving into a new place very soon.

I can post a few more clothed pictures of Crazy Jamaican and Skinny Jamaican if there is interest (they both are attention whores who love being in front of a camera), but I can almost guarantee there won't be anymore violent/interesting updates.
