As soon as I saw him, I knew he was destined for big things.

After the briefing, we set out on our journey. Oh the things we saw together..












He was so friendly to everyone we met.










It seemed that almost as soon as our adventure together started, we had reached our destination, family and friends reuinited at last.



But there was so little time for the hugging we all craved. It was time for the final briefing.




And for him to fulfill his destiny.









The look on his face said it all. He was ready.




Wish I could say the same. I stared at that button for what seemed like seconds, all the while my friends gently encouraging me to, "Push the damn thing already."






As I watched the rocket shooting farther and farther away, I knew that I would never send a better gnome into space.
