I'm seeing them in St. Pete and Orlando next week.

The Rare Cult box set is neat, but has a lot of stuff there's no mystery as to why it never got released. But the album which was slated to be called "Peace" but got re-recorded with Rick Rubin as "Electric" is pretty good ****.

Also, the new single on iTunes, "Embers," is worth plunking down $1.29 for.

Big fan...did they play "Wildflower"? Love that song..was Matt Sorum on the drums?? IIRC he was their drummer before he left for GnR.

I went to see them when they were Southern Death Cult. I will have been about 14. Only did one album afair, but it was ground breaking Do they still play any SDC? They did when I saw them in about 84. Dreamtime tour i think it was.

Saw them in San Antonio a couple of years ago after running the Rock and Roll Marathon (well, half marathon).

Brag: Free show for all the runners.

Beat: Was exhausted being up since 5am and running 13.1 miles.

Variance: Saw them at the airport....flying Southwest.

they break out the occasional Deamtime tune but I don't recall ever hearing any SDC/DC live.
