Why did you quit and move to Vegas?
My GF at the time got a good job offer here and I was tired of L.A.

Was intellectually stimulating, did you get any artistic say in this stuff or was it like a mundane job?
The hard core Vivid stuff was mostly a constant struggle just to get them made! There'd be many times I'd have one location (a cool house and property) and have to make 2 full-length videos in 3 days! And this was with story-lines, dalogue, etc. Meaning, I'd have to get pron stars to act and give a decent performance. So my set-ups were always the easiest, quickest shots I could get all my material shot. I never did a bigger-budget shoot for Vivid - those were all saved for Paul Thomas.
At EA, I shot lots of gonzo style, so there was really no "art" in it at all - just trying to the nastiest, dirtiest sex scenes possible.
But at Danni's, I was the boss and had a blast. All the storyline were my idea and I had a full studio and crew behind me. I did get to try many different kinds of things and be "arty."

How do you think porn now compares to the porn you were making?
It's all about making the product for the lowest price now - no one cares about production value - the amateur look is in. The grainier and less-professional looking, the better.
