Arranged marriage is preferred and even insisted on by the parent. In many parts it is hard not to have one but there are loners. Sometimes families aren't big and they are usually low class if can't get marriage arranged (because of poor).
Mumbai can be very cheap or extremely expensive. It depends on preference. Chances are Mumbai is most advanced city in India in terms of tastes on offer. As money depends on lifestyle I can't answer. Can live cheap.
I don't drink and smoke. They are cheap.
Parents look down upon the white marriage and in general because they assume will abandon. Definitely will happen. Can't date in most places but there is clubbing.
I don't know depends on preference.
