Maybe the threads that you guys have loved but we can't keep around here can be moved to archiveserver so you can still access the old content even if you can't add to it.

Tossed this idea by killa, we'll see.

you are getting into some nitty gritty about the advertisers that I don't know. I know the marketing team here is always looking for new networks and advertisers

I don't know how you can't understand that an advertiser could have a problem with a sites content but not have a problem with other ads.

How I can't understand an advertiser wanting to get rid of stuff that's on par with what they're advertising? Are you saying this is about eliminating competition?

For the most part the ads that the networks provide have their own rules as far as what type of sites they want to advertise on. They can also offer different value ads based on the site content. Other ads from other ad networks i suspect aren't "site content" and don't affect ad rates.

Seriously stabn, what is so hard to understand here? You don't think a sponsor who has a moral hang up about the content on 4L would ever have an issue with the form and content of the other ads? Good news then, someone call Larry Flint and see if Hustler will sponsor 4L.
