Wombat it would be nice if we can set the draft on Saturday for Merica so our Aussie friends can live draft with us, I think sometimes it's been on Sunday's Merica time which pushed it into Aussie work weeks. Not sure what other parts of the world are in or might get in though.

I will most likely set the live draft for 5:00 PM EST (That's east coast USA#1 time for you loleuros) August 29th unless there is a massive uproar against it.

Obviously there is no perfect time for everyone, but at this time the eurolanders will be drunk but not passed out, USA #1'ers won't have issues, and pelican doesn't have to roll out of bed before 6:55am.

Yes, August 29th is a Saturday, don't go check.

Make that September 5th. Labor day weekend and the NFL kickoff is a week later than usual. I also just realized that I will be attending a casino festivus the weekend of Aug28-31 and will be unable to host the draft effectively those dates.

The draft will be Saturday, September 5th, 5pm EST. You have 48 hrs to air grievances that your wise and malevolent commish will entertain.

That's 11. How does everyone feel about the cap? I don't mind 16 team leagues but I know lots of purists prefer to limit it to 12.

Albino Lord will prob want a spot as well. JM3? I think he's contractually obligated to play.

The more the merrier, imo.

Just run two leagues and have chapionship game between them. You can do that on ESPN for sure, I assume yahoo as well. Ez game.

Also, personal dislike..is the waiver wire based on position overall, or who used it last? I'm hoping for the latter.

For a casual league it's best to set it to overall position based priority. It keeps things churning and gives the dregs of the league a chance to recover. Otherwise, you get the top 2-3 teams just sitting at the top of the priority all season waiting to snipe a backup running back when Jamaal Charles' backup's backup robs a Piggly Wiggly.

I'd rather run 1 bigass league with two (or more) divisions than two distinct leagues.

It's still way early. Let's give it a week and see what the interest looks like. I'll create the league and settings to mirror interest.

I can see that.

I'm too competitive, I'd rather have the best player take it than some sort of feelings-and-funsies everyone's-a-winner hippie league, but as I said before. I'll play pretty much any way you guys decide to set it up.
