Hi guys, I am new to posting in this forum. Long time lerker. Please move this or delete if it is in the wrong place.

My question is this:

There is a $1,000 buy in turbo $300 bounty nlhe tournament during the WSOP in Vegas this year. The tournament is only one day. The payout is roughly 200k+ for first place. I compared it to another 30-min level game from last year that had the same buy in. Why is the 1st place prize here 200x the buy in and in other tournaments the first place payout is only 20-50 times the buy in? I am trying to find other tournaments where you play 1-3 days and the payout is similiar. It seems ridiculous to ever play a 3-7 day tournament that only has 100x the buy in as a payout for 1st place... Am I wrong?

Is there any website where I can see the highest paying tournament based on buy in, time played, and payout? I am looking to enter some tournaments much like the turbo event at WSOP on the 20th of June, but I cannot find anything comparable worldwide.

I realize WSOP is unique in that it has a tremendous player pool and tons of cash, but isn't there other events that have this same payout for certain tournaments?

It is unclear what you are asking. No mention of field size. Bounty event will pay less to 1st if same # of players due to paying of bounties vs. non-bounty event.

You can see wsop payouts here by entering the field size....

Is there a website to clearly view potential payouts based on buy in?

This tournament is about 1,200-1,300 people.

I am sick of seeing 5-10% of the prize pool going to 1st. Is there anyway to know which tournaments pay out the most based on buyin/payout ratio??

The link to the wsop.com payout site does exactly that.
many other sites have structure sheets that list payout percentages. Just do the math to figure it out based on # of expected entrants.
