Apologies for the format, anyone else having issues with the embedded 2+2 converter having a bad URL?

Felt like an awkward hand all the way through. Only got 35 hands on villain but had already seen him willing to GII pre with JQs etc in terrible spots and felt that I was likely to be ahead on the flop and turn, and wanted to charge his draws but the diamond on river was a terrible card for me

Am I wrong to bet it twice in this spot, or is my bet sizing a problem? As played am I committed on the river?

Would love to hear what other lines may have been better

The ugly thing about this spot is a player like this isn't going to be deterred by draw-charging bets. He probably doesn't pay attention to that stuff. Technically you want people calling incorrectly with draws, but in a tourney when you're concerned about damage to your stack, having them fold is sometimes the best outcome. Especially against a very unpredictable villain.

Perhaps a delayed CB in this spot to save yourself a bet?

Check back turn? Call river?

'Cause you bet the turn, we need to put the opponent on a lot of draws. Every riverbet looks as a fold.

i dont mind it too much, sometimes I might check turn behind and try to pick up a river bluff

I'm surprised no one is suggesting a call here on the river. Villain is clearly trying to represent a flush here but how many combos of flush does he have that cold calls a 3B? I'm thinking the usual hands are like AJd which obviously not possible, A10d which you block, and the most likely hand QKd. It's not impossible for him to have like A9d and A5d as it seems he likes to see a lot of hands but usually I don't see a flat from those hands deep in a tournament vs a 3bet. I decided to discount AQd as it seems Villain is aggressive enough to 4b it or check raise it on any streets (might not be the case who knows)

All in all, I'd probably would've bet larger on flop (100,000ish), check turn, and evaluate the river. As played I'd say you have good blockers and a hero call wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world as it seems insane to play any J/sets/two pairs this way. The call would more so be decided by the read I have on him.

First post and thought I'd say some insights on a pretty interesting spot. GL
