Hi there,

i am a recreational player. I have no clue what to do in this spot and i would like to hear your opinion about the situation and my thoughts (see also spoiler).

I am not sure about my image at the table. I was quiet active, mixing it up, raising and 3betting prefolp form time to time, cbetting, checking, everything but not playing wild. MP3 was somewhat tight. I don't use stats (recreational )

My bet on the flop into 6 players looks pretty strong, so there are a ton of better hands that can fold here. About the shove from MP2 i would say there is nothing to think about - i will insta call this. I can effort to lose the chips and hit my draws against his two pairs and sets or maybe even some limped overpairs (but unlikely), make my straight against his better flushdraws or the flush against his straights. I was really happy. But then MP3 calls his shove and ... i am not sure. What do you think about that and what would you suggest me to do here?
Spoiler:
I think after my strong flop bet, with his call, he wants me to lure into the pot! If he wants me out he would shove himself, and i have not enough chips to raise and make him fold. So sadly i might have to fold my beautiful hand here.

    I fold.

I am not sure if I would bet flop into that many people, if I do i choose a little bit small sizing ~ 2/3 of the pot.

As played it is very likly that MP3 is already very strong or has a better draw than you, in this case youre alway toast.

I dislike a lead as this flop spells fireworks all over it. If you want to put out a little stab to see if you'll fold anyone out I guess this is ok but betting pot size like you did is not advisable.

We have the idiot end of the strait draw and the 6 high (nine high) flush draw. I don't want to risk like 3/4 ornwhatever it is going to do to ur stack at this stage of the game.

What they all said. Don't fire away on this flop, you're just preparing yourself to get raised. You could be drawing nearly dead to a better straight or flushdraw + the other guy having set/2p (AcTc, JcTc, JT, AT, 77, 88, 99, 98, 9T, AKQJT-high flushdraws ). Just fold.

I like a bet on the flop. We have too much equity to just check. It sucks the hand shook down this way.

    Thanks for your response!

i chose the big flop bet because i dont want overcard hands with gutshots and backdoorflushdraws stay in the hand, something like QcJx or KcJx. Or would they call anyway?

@the guys who dislike the flop bet: what would you suggest me to do instead, especally on later streets?
