happened to me about 5+ times over 6 years when I dropped from 20k-30k down to less than 5k, for instance been at 1500$ around 3 years ago in January and recoreved from that and at 400$ two months ago after PCA. It's just the way it is. I've had rough 2012 but that's only because I was bored with the game, played around 4k mtts (I got full time job, mind you) and my average field was around 3500. It's very easy to lose over 4k sample with such big fields. PCA made me love the game again and I was passionate about it once more. So I had to man up, get humble and start grinding $2.5/180mans and reviewed much more, in no time I binked some odd micro turbo and shortly after followed with other scores. Now I'm playing my regular midstake schedule but I made sure I'm adding smaller tourneys like $13.50 KOs, caps and ftp was back with small fields and I started playing partially on .fr and party because again of smaller and softer fields. Plus I stopped playing hypers and applied stricter brm especially for turbo mtts. So, it's rather normal, man up, get humble and go grind. You can't play MTTs with mindset like yours.

If you don't change this mindset (or run incredibly good for the rest of your career) then you'll keep having massive swings.

play lower variance stuff and work on self control. if youre too greedy to play smaller field stuff youll have to deal with this type of variance. also some extended theory work/coaching can help you evaluate your game.

You probably ran waayyyyy over expectations when you won all those small buy-in HUGE field tournaments. You should be happy playing 8k tournaments and up 66k.

Sharkscope is not 100% accurate. I think If you are regular It gives you too much profit, If you don't change settings.

Just playing bigs and hots to keep more motivation to win and less tables instead of being auto-pilot that a solution to care A-game and control mindset???Also keeping much money not to spaz...

turbos are the worst stuff you can play both variance and value wise, so id skip hots if youre near broke. add some smaller field stuff and trust me, once you see steady profits and smaller downswings youll think you were stupid not to before.

you have a serious risk of going broke if you continue to play a schedule with huge amounts of runners. decent scores in bigs/other big fields probably arent as frequent as you think, as im thinking you ran above EV in some of them. if you play poker for a living, treat it as business. if you arent backed and spend most your roll, you have to cut down variance. theres no other way other than get backed or something.

Guys my problem is not complaining about the money much or less , If you see the graph on sharkscope that I had always a bink every 500 tourney that made me very comfortable and I've left my other job cause I think it would be always the same..

But around 10 months , I still have some little winnings and loses but it's not the same and I am spending my bankroll for my life expenses..

you ran very good for a while, and now you've been experiencing a normal downswing. It won't last forever, but it's going to happen a lot. Look at anyone elses graph who's been around for a while.
