Re: Whats the biggest downswing in MTTs uve been on?
With 75 replies, I'd say it's likely that at least one person itt is actually -ev and not on a downswing at all. That was my point...

If you were one of the best at 12/180s and only played those, and never cashed out.
400 BIs gives a .2% of going broke, as is shown by my math.

Saying "IDK if this is a level" doesn't make it so you didn't get owned.

Re: Whats the biggest downswing in MTTs uve been on?
I was in over 200k makeup after whiffing the WSOP 2 years ago. Got out in about 2 months, felt pretty damn good. Currently down 100k for the year though I think now maybe I just suck. Looking forward to getting into the mid 6 figs heading into the WSOP.

Re: Whats the biggest downswing in MTTs uve been on?
At the start of my last downswing I thought I was playing okay, but now realize I was making tons of errors late which kept catapulting my thinking into believing this downswing would never end.
It finally did come to an end and made me realize that to do well in tourneys doesn't just take lots of volume, but lots of patience and efforts to improve in order to reduce the length of future swings when they come (inevitable).
