I like ~5:1 . If you threw some $109>$700 or $150ish>$700 sats into the lobby, I'd play them.

I'm sure a $109 and $215 to the $1k ME would go over very well on Tues/Thurs and then weekends ofc

No, the point of them would be to have generic satellites which award TCOOP tickets.

cool idea! would def play them and think they could be a good success.
(would NOT play if tickets expire when TCOOP is finished)

At best, it's a matter of opinion, though as I mentioned, there's plenty of data to back up leaving out some games which just don't do well in TCOOP for one reason or another.
Do you have the historical buyin/prize pool numbers for the Badugi / TD tournaments in past TCOOPs?

No. Those games have never been part of TCOOP. Their performance in general and in other series is quite telling. In any case, the schedule is set and isn't going to change for 2017. We can resume this particular debate in December, if you wish.

For the record, I'm in agreement with you on this 100%, those games don't do well in any *COOP, and I think leaving them out of TCOOP is the right decision.

I think that because both games have multiple streets of betting along with multiple opportunities for discards they aren't conducive to a turbo structure, since each hand takes longer to play out than other games.

Hey Bryan,
I normally wasn't interested much in TCOOP, but since being sort of rec player now I like to play some faster structures. Just wanted to say that this looks like a pretty cool schedule for TCOOP, nice job including decent number of smaller buy-ins like 27 and 82.
I read the topic to actually ask about satellites so in my opinion your proposal above would be great. Would you also consider some satties to 215$s in 20-30$ range?
I understand that there are going to be more sats deployed for all events? Right now they are very limited and only to 3-4 events I think.
Thanks

Hi Bryan,

Was just wondering how comes event 13 of TCOOP has suddenly changed from a normal $27 to a $27+R? Working out my schedule and have now had to get rid of this Was only playing the 5 27's but now it's reduced to the 4!

It was meant to be deployed as a rebuy from the beginning. Typo was spotted, Event was fixed.

I tried a 1 buck big splash sat and i must say, a very tilting experience and failed concept, to play for so long to get nothing specially when barely any seats generated.

Will be interested how x3/x4 sats do this series as seems after some time regulars have realised these games are unbeatable at $5 + apart from days when alot of rec players have registered.

I don't really think it's quite fair to say that a long-shot satellite is a "failed concept" because you failed to qualify.

Over the past decade, no satellite type has been more successful than the x-Turbo types. This has changed somewhat in the last year, but they're still very successful.

The winners are:

TCOOP-24: $215 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Progressive KO (50%), Win the Button]

TCOOP-56: $82 NL Omaha Hi/Lo [8-Max, Progressive KO (33%)]

Thanks to everyone who took part. The freshly-minted Events will be in the client soon.

Thanks for 1k>3k sat Bryan, 345>1k ME tho before the weekend, pretty plzzzz

$162 turbo deeps to the ME look good, same with those $82s...forgot how well the 82 deep turbos (if I'm remembering correctly) did to 1k SCOOP ME and to the 1ks during COOP 2016s in general

Pretty sure I suggested this in a previous *COOP feedback thread, regarding Phase tournaments and the unofficial (but visible) payout structure that is posted in the tournament lobby of the final Phase prior to the final Phase being reached.

Given that:

1. Despite all the disclaimers posted about not being able to make the money until the final phase - these disclaimers have proven to not be 100% effective as far as avoiding confusion on the part of the players, as has been indicated by the feedback of many players during past *COOP phase events.

and

2. This non-official payout structure that is visible up until shortly before the final phase begins is not, will not be, and in almost all cases - because there are fewer remaining players than there are places paid out - cannot be the payout structure that is actually used.

and

3. Because of point 2 being true, the payout structure must be manually adjusted prior to the beginning of the final phase in order to accommodate the remaining number of players entering the final phase.

I propose that the "preliminary", "temporary", "fake", "non-official" payout table for the final phase be initially set as Winner Take All, and then adjusted (as it would be anyway) prior to the final phase to accommodate the number of remaining players.

That way if a player views the final phase lobby there will be no opportunity for them to ever believe that they might be making the money prior to the final phase, because all it will list is that first place will win $TotalPrizePool.

At present, the phase tournaments have payout structures posted in the final phase such that many more players are going to be initially listed as being paid than will be paid in reality, and, like I said above, you can put all the disclaimers you want in the upper-left box in a tournament lobby, but that's not going to stop people from not seeing the disclaimer but looking (as they have been doing for as long as Pokerstars has been dealing cards) at the payout table.

surprise surprise

Last year it was less of a mixed games slot, it was just between NLO8 and SD-27 and some players asked friends to vote for SD.
Now we basically dont have 8game at all - the most exciting mixed games format, thanks Bryan.

Ah yeah $700 8game, playing Sauce and Mercier is such a fun.

Please run some good satties for 8 game, at least, please.
