This was initially an oversight, but then developed into a decision. The tournament had been published as 9-Max for about a month when the disparity was pointed out, reminding that the Supersonic had changed to 6-Max a while ago. We discussed it for a while, and decided to leave Event 19 at 9-Max given how long it had been published as such. A Special Edition of a tournament can surely vary its players per table, as we do often with Sunday Warm-Up Special Editions in WCOOP and SCOOP, for example. Having said that, considering the likely preference for 6-Max among our hyper audience, we'll probably go with 6-Max for TCOOP 2017's Supersonic SEs.

TCOOP is played once per year. Having said that, it's quite likely that $27 TCOOP tickets will be accepted in $27 SCOOP Events.

There will certainly be satellites before the Deadline Satellites, but there won't be satellites put out before they're likely to succeed. As frustrating as it may be for those who are waiting for 8-Game satellites eagerly, the fact is that right now any such satellites would not be likely to do well, and in fact most (or all) would likely cancel.

I don't consider it very likely that we'll have a 2-Stakes TCOOP anytime soon. We do have a very wide variety of satellites this year, though. Following on from the dramatic successes of the extensive offering of Round 1 satellites in SCOOP and WCOOP in 2015, many (most) TCOOP satellites at $7.50 and above have Round 1 satellites pointing at them, giving players with as little as $0.11 or 2 StarsCoin in their bankroll a chance to qualify for an Event.

Put simply, I made a mistake when I scheduled the Deadline satellites to Event 29. It was realized in time to move them, however there were significant numbers of players registered to both at the time, and I didn't think that it would be fair to those players to move the tournaments earlier in the day. Undoubtedly, some would have missed the start or been otherwise inconvenienced had the start times been changed from what they'd been advertised at for weeks. There was brief thought given to cancelling both Deadline Satellites for Event 29, but in the end we decided to let them play out and let those who succeeded in them earn T$215.
The idea that we don't care is disappointing to read, to say nothing of quite insulting, but there's not much to be done about that other to work even harder to avoid mistakes in the future. For what it's worth, I can tell you that even the tiniest mistake in the smallest satellite absolutely drives me up the wall and keeps me up at night.
