As a lawyer, it would be the equivalent of agreeing to the terms of a contract and sending it over for signature with additional terms favorable to you added without telling the other side.

Additionally, bragging about owning people in deals is really classless. The combination of the two actions doesn't paint s00ted in a favorable light.

I'm glad the correct result was eventually reached.
This is right on, I am amazed how many disagree. Oh well, takes all kinds.

This.

I don't get the huge distinction everyone is making between proposing a deal in the chat and proposing a deal in the software that exists specifically to propose deals. How is agreeing to one any more binding than the other? Why should the chat deal that everyone accepted take precedence over the software deal that everyone accepted?

Jokers offered a deal, the other parties accepted, and I see no reason it should go any further than that.

They agreed upon the numbers in the chat talk, and agreed to play for the 10k. What they agreed upon left 10k that nobody had spoken for. Once they all agreed on the numbers, sooted slipped the 10k onto his side as he was controlling the deal, and was seemingly the only person aware that there was an extra 10k. The time between him adding the 10k to his share, finalizing the deal, and then everyone confirming took ~5 seconds. If you had watched it happen as it went down, I am 99% sure you're opinion would be completely different.

Some people just value money over morality. The whole "it's their fault for not catching me doing something shady" argument is pretty lol.

Re: SWEAT DEVO NOW, FTOPS.

Basically, I think just giving the 10k to yourself was an error in judgment which is certainly understandable after all those hours, and just shipping everyone 2500$ is an excellent resolution. Congrats on the huge score!
