Sunday Storm Strategy Sunday Storm Strategy

Hi all,

Quick post about today's Sunday Storm! I haven't played in that many tournaments with this structure- would I be right in assuming that if I accumulated about another 5000 in chips and played very slowly when I had them, that would probably be enough to cash?

The strucutre is also pretty slow compared to what I'm used to... overall my preference is to have more chance of a smaller cash, when would more experienced players say it's good to register? Any other tips you have would be nice!

edit: Tip #1 - If you are going to play for the mincash, unreg pre.

If you're keen to min-cash, why not just load a HU hyper and save yourself 7 hours?

I'd take a bet I'm even a better tourn player than most people who have posted... I'm not JUST playing to min cash although that is my slight preference.

Erm because I have a Sunday Storm ticket!

I'm not JUST calling to bluff the river, although that is my slight preference.

Doesn't matter how good you are, depends on how good you run IMO.

Steal the blinds first hand then fold into the money. Also shove hand 34.

TBH that's why I prefer cashgames- tournaments with 15% max payout usually depends on winning a hand where you have at most 60% equity. Used to the 15% payout just a deeper structure than usual although have played before.

I can see this this thread developing into something awesome.

Not sure why your slight preference would be to min cash. If I was gonna play it my slight preference would be to run like a god and win the ****ing thing. A min cash after all them hours would prob put me on suicide watch.

shove allin every hand for the first 15 mins, no one wants to bust a tournament that soon!

Lol tbh I do think this thread is pretty funny... these forums usually either make me laugh or have some good practical advice, shame there isn't any practical advice so far though!
