Tourney: SUNDAY MILLION April 2nd.

Low Tier: $21 Entry
Mid Tier: $51 Entry
High Tier: $101 Entry

• All Million entries/re-entries count.
• Choose other players if you want, but if that player wants own action, he gets preference.
• Entries accepted till 13:30 EST April 2nd.
• $1 from each entry goes to me for running this as smoothly and transparently as possible.
• Payouts sent 24 hours after the tourney finishes to check/double check the winners.
• If you think you(or for that matter player you bet on) cannot play after entering you have upto 13:30 EST March 31 to cancel, after that no cancellations please.

Payouts:

• 20 runners: Winner takes all.
• 21-50: 75/25
• 51+: 60/25/15

ah, well i'm kinda easy about it as well.

So let me just have a think about as we are 2 and half weeks away. I will be 100% sure near the end of next week. So until then I would keep this open.

time = money friend , time/effort in exchange for money = a service. He probably loses money depending on how many entries and how much effort it takes

I dont think charging a fee for a one time friendly event like this amounts to making money, even if you look at it from terms and conditions perspective. I could be wrong , may be a Admin could confirm that.(will email the admins, as you have raised a fair point as well)

I am not running this, but if I participate I will be willing to pay the 1$. Obviously when there is a fee charged, some people may not enter.

Historically, people have not charged any rake while doing stuff like this. I'm not an MTT regular and don't know the general MTT forum policies, but 2+2 has had thousands of situations where people escrow for free in different betting scenarios. You can see it in betting pools, prop bets, etc. Although I would say that charging vig ($1) per entry in this situation is not necessarily 'against the 2+2 terms and conditions', we (the moderators) probably do not want to have to deal with these situations frequently-having individuals profit somewhat heavily can lead to a bad precedence for these prop bets (ie. individuals marketing different props at different vig amounts for the same events).

All that being said, if everyone still wants to do this and are ok with paying the $1 fee, I guess I can't really argue too much against it. I will just say that from an admin/moderator's perspective, it could create a potential headache, so I guess we'll just cross that road if it comes to that.

I think that as soon as you start charging rake, be it $0.01 or $100, you may be crossing a line in terms of legality and putting 2+2 in a tough position.

I'm happy to run one without taking any for the milly. Unless demetri does or OP wants todo it for free i guess I ll make a thread tomorrow. Needs some time to be set up and the more time to enter the better. Would just like to get some kinda LL going soon

I can do this, but will start it next week. Starting one now is pointless imo.

95% people that enter do so 1-2 days before the MTT starts.
