I want the community to know that I have received conformation from Pokerstars game security that I will get my account back soon. Here is the email from Pokerstars.
Hello Russ,
I am writing to follow up on the recent decision by PokerStars to bar you
from playing on our service.
We have reconsidered your situation, and taken into account your cooperation
with our investigative process, and also taken into account the nature of
your offence.
Consequently, we have agreed to allow you back onto PokerStars after a
three-month timeout period has elapsed. This will count from the time that
your account was intially frozen.
That said, the following restrictions will apply:
1) You will need to write to us after the three-month period has elapsed to
reopen your account
2) When you email us, we will conduct an extensive review of your case. If
we find that you have sought to access PokerStars during this time period
under another account name, we will not hesitate to bar you permanently and
seize any funds contained in that account.
3) After your account is reopened, you will not be permitted to make real
money transfers to or from other players.
4) You may not enable JJprodigy (or anyone closely related to him) to make
money from games at PokerStars, either as a player, a backer, or under any
other circumstances. We're willing to let you play on PokerStars, but not him.
5) Any time you want to make any financial transaction, you will need to
email
support@pokerstars.com and ask for permission from a member of the
Game Security Team. Each time you perform a financial transaction we'll
conduct an additional check to make sure you're not associating with
undesirable individuals.
6) Every September (ie, every 12 months) we will review the situation on
request to consider lessening these restrictions.
As my colleague Jeff said recently in regards to this situation: we know
more than you think we do about your activities and connections with other
players. Our job is security, and our job is to *know*. While it is true
that we can't watch everyone, and that some of these accounts may have flown
under the radar for some time... once the spotlight is on you, it focuses
like a laser beam, dissecting your account and activities at every level and
in every aspect.
Once you have your account back, we would strongly encourage you to restrict
or completely eliminate the practice of taking staking arrangements from any
but your closest friends, and even then, from friends you are certain are
not associated with barred PokerStars players. Don't use computers other
than your own, unless you know who else has used them in the past. Don't do
inter-site trades (i.e. Stars for FTP money) -- make your own deposits, cash
out your own winnings.
You're in a tricky spot -- under a microscope and now watched far more
closely than the average account due to past associations. To keep that
account open, you have to be doing it cleaner and safer than the average guy
going forward.
We don't want to punish you just for the sake of punishing you. We are
taking this action because we care deeply about the integrity of our games,
and we feel that this is the best way to do this. I hope you can understand
where we're coming from, but please let us know if there is anything unclear
- we hope that you will keep to the spirit of these restrictions and that
you and PokerStars can enjoy a happy and productive relationship in the future.
Sincerely,
Michael J

I cannot begin to express how happy I am that I will not have to play anonymously, thus having
an unfair advantage versus other players(though I prolly need it)
I am also very happy that my name can be cleared of any wrongdoing. I thinnk Pokerstars did the right
thing in taking there time and reviewing everything. I contacted Barry Greenstein, my good friend Chris
Moneymaker, and other people at Pokerstars who I know personally and they all agreed that a lifetime
ban was too much(I never heard back from Barry).
I want to thank my friends in poker who knew I had never multi accounted and stayed positive with me
after my account was banned. These people (in no particular order) include
Apestyles, colderdeck, ajkhoosier, #1 Pen, jeffbeesdat, simmsux, randers, allin@420,
isotar, hattrick8810, hit, Chris Moneymaker, and many many others.
Let's face it guys, if your not in the same room or very close friends of someone and allegations are made
**** creeps into our minds. That' just the way life is. I am not going to go into detail about the personal messages
I got or the people that called me a POS cheater and that I am just as guilty as JJ because it's his money as
these are the same idiots who look at middle eastern people and automatically deem them terrorists( I believe one idiot
actually made that comparison).
I am going to honor Pokerstars ban as I have so far and I am very thankful that I didn't start playing under a new account
as that would have been a deterrent in getting my account back. It is going to be harder to get $ on site w/o P2P transfers but
I can deal with that. I do not know what else to say. To those who didn't judge me I thank you and gl.

Once again, a big kudos to the Pokerstars support team. They are the best in the biz
