So that means that you now won't make any more changes at all?

I'm shocked that you've taken out the Stud High event. A ridiculous move if so.
Dissappointed at the number of turbos, though hopefully you're continuing to amend to that.

Also very disappointing that you've stopped awarding watches. Another frustrating cost-cutting move from Stars, at the expense of the players.

Also +1 to keeping Ante up. I like it. It's different and strategic and gets you to actually think.

I had been waiting for this schedule looking to see when the Stud Event is. Very limited chances to play larger buy-in in that game and rarely miss it.

Also you got a story in the low buy-in one with Nr1InEurope runner up in 2015, then winning it in 2016, and winning the TCOOP this year too.

Dropping that seems like la la land to me.

Can I put in a suggestion that you get stars to hire someone who cares about events to be put in charge of scheduling and working with the community to make the events?

Someone like Bryan who took his job seriously thanks

or for this to even happen will we need someone already in place who at least pretends to give a **** about keeping people informed, taking in feedback and running things smoothly?

We have to send mails to PS for more accurate dates and things wit
When PokerStars Luke is not 99%+ sure that in some day he can post something as important as SCOOP 2017 schedule,he have to post time line, not the exact day...
This is not cool PS.
Like when PokerStars Luke posted

All of your feedback is being read and considered, so please keep it coming! The feedback we receive here is helping to guide decisions and inform changes that are still being made to the schedule. We are aiming to finalize the schedule very soon, so after another day of feedback, I will send the schedule to my colleagues before posting the final version here.

Ah man - getting rid of Stud. For NL Draw! I refuse to believe 5 card draw is more popular than Stud, am I wrong? Why is there not room for both?

He announced the dates and posted the tentative schedule well in advance, made few changes etc.. Why are we being so over critical? Are you guys like really expecting major changes in the final schedule? It's gonna be pretty much same except maybe we might see stud hi, ante up event back.. that's it :/

Dates were confirmed long time ago.

I was one of the guys who suggested Luke to replace stud hi with 5card draw only if there's no room for both. Yes if you look at their numbers both in the daily schedule and last couple of years of scoop (except for higher buy in), 5 card draw did better than stud.

Earlier posted this:

Higher stake stud no doubt would do better than draw everytime but not the lower/medium buy ins. So would it be fair to skip nl draw only because its high stake game don't do well than stud? And since you're talking about stud cash action on stars, you should also see how their tourneys perform in the weekly schedule (Compare nl5cd vs stud saturday/sunday tourneys and daily tourneys). How often stud tourneys have cancelled.

Obviously would have liked to see both in the scoop schedule but I guess that's not possible looking at the schedule. (Had earlier suggested to add draw game on 14th may without needing to replace stud)

Hey everyone,

Below is the final version of the schedule! There's been numerous changes as a result of the feedback here, such as:
  • There's no hyper-turbo Events (down from one last year) and three turbo Events (down from four last year).
  • An additional Event was added on the 2nd Sunday at 05:00 ET. It is a $5.50/$55/$530 Progressive KO, bringing the tally to 57 Events.
  • The Super Tuesday and Thursday Thrill Special Editions in the 2nd week of SCOOP will have $27/$215/$2,100 buy-ins.
  • In general, buy-ins have increased since the original schedule was posted and re-entry has been reduced.

On the whole, SCOOP 2017 is shaping up to be the biggest ever. The guarantees will be enormous and I'm very excited to start creating the tournaments you'll all be playing! The tournaments, as well as their guarantees, are scheduled to be deployed to the client in early April.

Could also be variable levels and same "duration" in terms of player field shrinkage.

Just don't make them go for a million years and please just make shorter day 1p
