(I can't give you the Version 05 schedule, for obvious reasons... one being that I'm not finished writing it... but I thought you'd be interested in knowing some things.)

* we're adding an event to the first Sunday, starting at 08:00 ET
* we're slashing the number of Turbos, eliminating some and replacing some others with tournaments which have variable level times, starting out fast and slowing down as the tournament progresses
* Ante Up is on the chopping block... it is likely to go away for SCOOP 2015
* a 1R1A is being added, probably at $7.50/$82/$700
* FLO H/L is likely going to be 8-Max
* we've decided against having a Phase event
* Saturdays are going to be strengthened

More to come when I have more to share. Please note that all of the above are planned modifications after today's call. There will be more calls, more discussions, before the schedule is set in stone. I just thought that you all might like to know that your feedback is under heavy consideration, and that we're making serious modifications which are largely based on what we've heard from our players. Thank you again.

(Oh, and as for a mix-max event... I'd love to run one, but as yet we don't have the capability in the client. Once we do, you can be sure that we'll run it!)
this all sounds good, thanks for listening to our feedback

(gonna reemphasize a suggestion to strengthen Saturday by having a 2 day 200/2k/21k 8max)

looking fwd to the new schedule

all sundays in the series need 4 events not just the first

This was considered. Ultimately, we decided to start with one, see how it goes, and perhaps SCOOP 2016 will have four events on each Sunday.

don`t really see any downside with having 4x events on sundays, other than that great job, thanks.

Really? There is a thought in your mind that whatever guarantee you put on a 4th Sunday SCOOP won't be completely blasted through?

Thanks Bryan, that's the best responsiveness I've seen to one of these tourney series feedback threads (if the changes are carried through as expected).

+1 to hoping the Saturday strengthening includes a SHR.

Also, looking forward to seeing what these are:

Please add one more 8game event, or make this one higher. WSOP have their own 50k Poker players championship and it is one of the most prestigious event. Most games currently online and live are mixed games as well so i think this will be popular. 10k-25k buyin seems like good

**** no, don't remove Ante Up.

Obv I get the hate from MTT regs cause it's a tournament that is really hard to play while multitabling. However it's prob the only NL tournament where you can get a really significant edge because a) people aren't comfortable with the format b) there's a lot more room for postflop creativity compared to normal NL events which often are zzzZzz 20-40bb preflop fests during endgame. Poker deserves new formats that keep the game exciting. Ante Up easily the most exciting NL tournie during tournament series, don't kill it. TOO WEIRD TO LIVE, TOO RARE TO DIE!

SCOOP/WCOOP are the only time of the year when a Ante Up tournie with a decent guarantee comes up. If they go, basically the whole format is finished. AND Ante Up belongs to online IMO, can't compare it with the WSOP one. Or did WSOP have 25 denomination chips throughout that tournament?

I couldnt agree more, Ante up is one of the rare formats of NL that is amazingly fun to play.

Most regs just hate it because they are not used to the out of the box thinking required to excel in this format.

Ante Up is a complete blast to play, family postflop pots and unintuitive strategies everywhere. The fish play it absolutely terribly and the regs haven't solved it to death.

Pls do keep the ante up is an awesome event!
The format puts you in a lot of tough spots against multiple opponents , which makes it a lot of fun. It definitly belongs to Scoop.
The only reason I can see regs hating the format is because it is hard to multitable being in a lot of weirds spots, which should not be a legitimate reason to drop it imo.

Any pre-estimations about how the satellites to the H-Events will be scheduled and structured would be highly appreciated.

Ante Up survived until Version 06 (the current version). (Edit: to be clear, Ante Up is *in* the current version. It's Event 12, $7.50 / $82 / $700 on May 13th at 14:00 ET.)

We're always listening. At present, Event 01 is at 08:00 on May 10th... $11 / $109 (Kickoff SE) / $1,050.

The first Saturday is significantly stronger than it was before. The second Saturday is stronger, as well... though I worry it won't satisfy some, as the High-Roller Heads-Up needs to go there, and that takes up a slot. I will remind many, though... that the last Saturday will be absolutely loaded with tons upon tons of satellites to the Main Event, and that this will be a big part of the focus for the final Saturday. This is not to say that we haven't beefed the final Saturday up, because we have... with at least one tournament that I think many of our players will absolutely love. I'm looking forward to watching it play out, myself.

As for releasing the final schedule, we'll see. I think it likely that we'll release it when it's deployed and satellites start playing, at the end of March or the beginning of April... but we'll see...

Thanks again to everyone for your participation in this thread... it's greatly appreciated.

satellites to scoop tickets could be running now a few days a week without really being in competition with anything else, can't see much of a downside for that.
