Re: SCOOP 2012 - Feedback Thread
please run a lot of satellites for the high events - normally you leave them pretty neglected

Re: SCOOP 2012 - Feedback Thread
Why were the main buyins changed? TCOOP was evidence that the $700 buyin is a clear winner and if promoted properly the steps system can boost field sizes nicely.

Re: SCOOP 2012 - Feedback Thread
adding an action hour is nice, putting it instead of 500 rebuy is not.

Any way its a bit better than before, tx for listening, sill disapointed overall I have to admit...

bryan could u comment on why this was changed, looking back i don't see anyone in this thread even commenting on main buyin...
if a lot of high stakes guys wanted a 10k buyin thats one thing, but 82/700 for the low/med events just seems so much more logical after tcoop...

God gags calm ur beak... action hour is the ****tttttttttttttt. i agree they maybe shouldn't have sacrificed the rebuy, but meh, they added the 1k's.

great changes guys, thx
The reason there are less scoops on sundays is quite obvious if you sit back and think about it

Re: SCOOP 2012 - Feedback Thread
Raising Badugi and PLO8 buy-ins was very good - I don't know why Triple Draw buy-in wasn't raised as well though, makes no sense.
Also I don't get the "not enough demand" for NL Single Draw 2-7 at all... it was requested plenty of times in this thread and you've run it in many series in the past. If anything, it's more popular now than it used to be. Perhaps you are worried about an overlay, but is it really that big of a risk to throw it on there somewhere with the smallest guarantee (same as Badugi and NL Draw)? And ftr, I cannot fathom NL Draw being more popular than Single Draw 2-7. And if you are going to put a Hi only draw game on the schedule, it should definitely be PL.
Shouldn't the following be two day events?:
17:00 ET
SCOOP-19-L: $27 Triple Stud
SCOOP-19-M: $215 Triple Stud
SCOOP-19-H: $2,100 Triple Stud
I know the Stud fields will be relatively small, but they are late events on a SATURDAY. I think you're really risking a lot of players skipping these (including myself) because they don't want a super late ending on a Saturday night with the early Sunday grind right around the corner! Imo, make the Stud 7 or 8 hours of play MAX before stopping it for Day 2.
17:00 ET
SCOOP-35-L: $27 NL Omaha Hi/Lo
SCOOP-35-M: $215 NL Omaha Hi/Lo
SCOOP-35-H: $2,100 NL Omaha Hi/Lo
Super slow structure on a Friday night with Saturday's grind being pretty early and starting with a huge PLO event... seems like this should clearly be a 2 day event.
14:00 ET
SCOOP-18-L: $11 PL Omaha [6-Max, Rebuys]
SCOOP-18-M: $109 PL Omaha [6-Max, Rebuys]
SCOOP-18-H: $1,050 PL Omaha [6-Max, Rebuys]
This should be extremely deep stacked and it's on a Saturday - you made Event 32 a 2-day, so why not this?
Don't get me wrong though - awesome schedule overall and good improvements. Thank you for listening!

^^^ great comments.
Excellent changes to the sched tho, particularly with the O8 events.
2 day structures for the triple stud and NLO8 at 17:00 would be really great.
Pearljammer is also right, if anything the buyins for the badugi and triple draw should be switched. But I do think there is interest in the Badugi... I think you guys just killed the weekly by moving it so early on a Sunday. Who is going to play badugi at 10am EST when they are 20 tabling NLHE??? If it were in the afternoon, maybe even on Saturday, the event would revive imo.

Re: SCOOP 2012 - Feedback Thread
Yea, and I'm definitely excited! I know it's too late for the first things I mentioned, however, I don't believe it's too late for them to decide to make those 3 tourneys 2 day events. They've made those changes at this stage of the game before.
