yeah i mean i know you say you wanna play it to grind it to pay back people but in reality you are just hoping for a big score to clear it easily, which is a leak of many ppl in general when playing mtts (particularly big ones).. better to grind a more consistent, lower variance hourly online even if it means making weekday grinds without much high stakes. there is almost no way that with expenses and everything playing 10ks and stuff is the best option.

and yes no one will do anything when known scammers or similar show up, not being hypocritical cause it's not like i will call them out or something either.

i dont have any proof but i bought a small percentage of a wsop vegas package in 2014 and his updates were horrible and he busted every tournament. obviously it is easy to bust less than 5 tournies but this looks ridiculously suspicious now. cant remember if he posted tournament tickets on twitter or not but i assume he didnt.


Edit: looked at my records and never received a 70$ refund from this package. full disclosure i forgot about it as did he probably. i did tell him he could send to my screen name on stars, but that i preferred paypal. got a response that he needed to load money and never received funds.

i did receive a refund from an EPT package that he obviously bricked as well i believe in late may of 2015

hmm maybe meet in the middle somewhere? Like set up a fairly aggressive payment plan and if he defaults on any of the scheduled payments then thread gets put back up. I think its good to give people the best opportunity to make good on their past transgressions. If its confirmed that he is actually out of poker then I think its in everyones best interest to give him a chance to move on from this and pay everyone back. He should also make a payment to herm right away before anything is considered.

Call me skeptical. Once this thread disappears, what will happen to his motivation to pay?

He seems to care about having his name associated with this ongoing situation. The correct remedy would be to resolve the issue by paying the folks who were victimized.

Of course, the opinions of the victims of the scam should carry the most weight.

We don't even know how many people are owed. Was there ever a compete list? Do we even know which events were affected? These are among the many unanswered questions that have lingered since the beginning.

We're all affected as potential backers. This thread is important because it allows us the chance for some due diligence before investing. Of course it shouldn't be removed. Hopefully it will be updated someday with news of a successful resolution, but time continues to pass with silence.
