Caleb's death had nothing to do with "the poker lifestyle", it doesn't need to be discussed on a forum.

Didn't know him but sounds like he was a great guy. Just read the blog post and thought it was REALLY good. I too have done the ego-save-face motions in those spots, possibly at the cost of EV. Really well-worded, intelligent insight. RIP.

damn, first real friend I made in poker. really shocked to hear this now. first time i ever met him we chopped a room at the borgata winter series 2009 and stayed together for 2 weeks. used to always swap 5's in everything we played. after black friday we fell out of touch because i more or less stopped playing altogether. RIP Caleb

Sorry for your loss. I remember playing with this guy as well and seemed like a very nice person and always had a smile (can't say that of a lot of ppl on the felt) RIP

I don't even know what to say...I'm stunned to hear about this tragedy

Caleb and I went to HighSchool together, and we played hours and hours of home games together long before Caleb even hit the TS scene. We go way back and this really hits me hard, we fell out of touch over the years to the point where this is the first I am hearing about his passing, and thats 2 years after the fact.....

I feel sick about this, Caleb was such a nice guy, so down to earth, and an excellent poker player. We played at least 4 different regular home games together, and once he started regularly playing at the Stone I joined him many times and we always had a great time. I wish I had known in time to attend the services, but he will be missed and I will always remember him fondly. The poker community has suffered a great loss, but I miss Caleb the friend, and its hard to take in.

Rest in Peace my friend, I wish I had known to be there for you, you will sincerely be missed.

i would assume he is saying something along the lines of "man, its been 2 years since this happened? seems like yesterday he was still here" etc etc

Sorry Allen, I was just too bummed to write in coorect form when I saw this was bumped because of the memories it brought back. It was almost 2 years ago now. Rip buddy

Ahh the good old 9c 7c SOOOOOOOTED....we used to give each other crap since my favorite hand was always 8s9s....miss that kid...

Feels like yesterday, still missed buddy.
